Palettes are the small tools docked on the right side of the window. Click the
Palettes toolbar button (⌃⌥T) to show or hide the panel, then pick a pane
from the chips along its top. Drag the divider to widen it; double-click the divider to
reset.
| Palette | What it does |
|---|---|
| Pages | Every page, filterable — a second page list that lives on the right. |
| Backlinks | Every page that links to the current page, each with the sentence around the mention. Hover a row for a preview card. |
| Related | Pages whose content resembles this one, found with local AI embeddings — connections you never made explicitly. See Local AI. |
| Collections | Hierarchical groups of pages. Collections drive the order of PDF and ePub exports — your table of contents. Drag to rearrange. |
| Tags | Assign tags to the current page, or browse every tag in the document. |
| Info | The current page: name, dates, type, skip-on-export; aliases; document settings (home page, new-page format, linking toggles); custom URL links. |
| Meta | Arbitrary key/value pairs on the page — invisible data that scripts can read and write. See Scripting: Plugins. |
| To-dos | Every line in the document containing a to-do token (@todo by default — add your own in the pane). Click to jump. |
| Anchors | Every page anchor in the document (Format ▸ Add Page Anchor…) — bookmarks within long pages. Click to jump and flash. |
| Updates | Recently edited and recently viewed pages with timestamps. |
| Calendar | The daily-notes month view — dotted days have notes; click a day to open or start one. See Daily Notes. |
| Static | Publish the wiki as a blog. See Static Publishing. |
| Scripts | The script runner and your plugin pages. See Scripting: Plugins. |
| Ask | Ask questions of your own wiki, answered by local AI with cited sources. See Local AI. |
The Info (toolbar ⓘ) button opens the panel straight to the Info pane —
and clicking it again while Info is showing closes the panel. The chips along the top
are yours to arrange — drag one onto another to reorder them; the order sticks.
